The following types are currently available, and this price includes government fees and processing. We have the tourist visa (2 years) which costs 54€ and the transit visa (24 hours maximum) which costs 34€ .

To travel to New Zealand you need a valid visa. You can apply for it online, as this is the quickest and most effective way. The e-Visa for visiting New Zealand for tourism purposes is called NZeTA and it is valid for 2 years. It is mandatory to attach a copy of your passport with a minimum of 6 months validity from your arrival date, and a recent photograph.
If you wish to apply for a transit visa (24 hours) you must also include your flight tickets and your travel itinerary.
You can arrive by air and always present your NZeTA along with your original passport with a minimum of 6 months validity from your arrival date.
Depending on the type of visa (NZeTA) you select when you apply, as there are two types, a tourist visa (2 years) and a transit visa (24h maximum).
The tourist visa (NZeTA) is valid for 2 years, and allows for multiple entries, with maximum stays of 90 days each.
No vaccines are required to travel to New Zealand, however, we recommend to contact your country’s International Vaccination Centre for further information.
To enter New Zealand you will need to fulfill these New Zealand entry requirements:
- A travel authorization like the NzeTA or a visa
- A passport
- You should be vaccinated with routine vaccines such as Hepatitis A and B, Meningitis, Polio, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Tdap, Chickenpox, Shingles, Pneumonia and Influenza.
Tourists travelling to New Zealand must apply for a travel permit before entering the country.
New Zealand introduced the NZeTA (New Zealand electronic Travel Authorization) system, which avoids having to go to an embassy to get a visa.
This travel authorisation is valid for 2 years, during which you can travel to the country as many times as you like, with a maximum continuous stay of 90 days each time. It is valid for tourism and business trips, if you want to work, live, or study in New Zealand, you will have to go to an embassy to apply for the corresponding visa.
