Can you work on an eVisitor Visa?
No. Work is not permitted on an eVisitor visa. It is strictly for short-term visits related to tourism. You can also do business-related activities such as attending conferences or meetings or negotiating contracts. Volunteer work or unpaid training are also allowed.
What to do if your eVisitor Visa expires?
If your visa expires, you cannot stay in the country. If you want to remain in Australia while resolving the status, consider applying for a Bridging Visa E (Subclass 050 or 051). This will allow you to stay temporarily while you apply for another visa or make arrangements to depart.
Can you extend your stay with the eVisitor Visa?
No. With this visa you can only stay for a maximum of 3 months within a year. If you wish to extend your stay you will have to apply to a different visa before the eVisitor expires.
