The electronic Singapore visa replaces the old Singapore arrival card (D/E card) and is meant to speed up the application process.

This e-card (SG Arrival Card) must be applied for before traveling, and once in the country must be exchanged for the final Singapore visa. You must have the following documentation in hand:

- The number and expiry date of your passport
- The dates of entry and exit from the country
- Proof of accommodation in Singapore
- Details of your plane tickets
- An email address to receive the e-card
- A bank card to pay

If any of these elements are missing, your application for the SG Arrival Card will be saved so that you can complete it at a later stage.

You can apply for the SG Arrival Card online in a process simplified by Visagov.

You must present the SG Arrival Card which was sent to your email address once you arrive. The government authorities will then exchange your e-card for your final Singapore tourist visa. The latter has a fee which will depend on the nationality of the applicant and must be paid on site.

You must print the e-arrival card and present it together with your passport and other required documentation upon arrival in the country.
