Indians who fly with Emirates can apply for a visa for Dubai

United Arab Emirates has simplified the visa application process for Indian citizens who travel with Emirates airline. Now, Indian tourists can travel to the UAE with a pre-approved visa, which is applied for at the same time the traveler makes their flight reservation with the airline Emirates.

Indian citizens who go through this new, streamlined process will obtain a 14-day single entry visa, which is pre-approved so the travelers can clear customs faster than ever. Those who wish to apply can do so from the airline’s official website. 

It’s worth noting that this isn’t available to all Indian citizens: they have to hold a six-month residency visa for the US, EU or the UK. US Green Card holders are also eligible.

India and the UAE have a strong relationship, especially when it comes to tourist arrivals. For example, more than 2 million Indian tourists spent a night in Dubai last year.
