The documentation you will need to apply for an Uganda Travel Visa will depend on the type of document you select and the reason for your trip.

These requirements are shared across all visa types and travel purposes:

A copy of your valid passport
A personal photograph
A copy of your yellow fever vaccination card

For both multiple entry tourist visas, in addition to the initial list you will need:

Record of the arrivals and departures in Uganda during the previous year
Criminal record certificate
Letters of recommendation from two sponsors
ID of each sponsor
Cover letter
Invitation letter if you travel for a conference
Invitation letter and ID of the host if you travel to visit an Ugandan family member
Invitation letter, immigration status and ID of the host if you travel to visit a foreign citizen
A medical appointment if you travel for health reasons

Every type of Uganda eVisa offered by the government is processed online, without having to go to the embassy to get one. In Visagov, the application form has been simplified to help the user with possible errors that could jeopardise the approval of the application.
