The visa applications are the same. Depending on your nationality, you can apply for the eVisitor or the ETA. Both are valid for one year and allow multiple visits. The ETA costs 20 AUD while the eVisitor is free. Once you have completed your application, we will automatically send you your visa.
It includes the visa and processing fee as well as 24/7 support from our visa experts team. You will not be charged for anything else upon arrival.
The Subclass 601 Electronic Travel Authority (also known as ETA) Visa is an electronic document that allows you to visit the country several times during 1 year for stays of up to 90 days per entry.

Yes, depending on your nationality, you can apply for the ETA or eVisitor. Both are valid for the same period.
Unfortunately not. Once you have your eVisitor or ETA you cannot convert it to another type of visa. If you want to work or study in Australia, you need to apply for the appropriate type of visa.
Once you have submitted your application, you will receive an email with a link to a tracker to check the status of your application, and when your visa is approved you will be able to download the document there. You can check with our eligibility verifier to see if you need to apply.
It is not necessary, but we always recommend printing it to avoid possible complications.
At least one week before your arrival.
The application takes about 5 minutes. The processing of visa applications takes a maximum of 3 working days.
To travel to Australia, you must apply for an e-Visa, or travel authorisation. Which you receive will depend on your nationality.
Citizens of Brunei, Canada, Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore, South Korea and the United States will receive an ETA. All other nationalities will receive an eVisitor.
Both are electronic visas, and both have the same characteristics. The eVisitor and the ETA are valid for 1 year, with multiple entries to the country, and with maximum continuous stays of 90 days. The 2 electronic visas allow travel to Australia for tourism and business purposes.
The only difference between the ETA and the eVisitor is their price.
The Australian immigration authorities reserve the right to admission. In the case of having a criminal record, previous problems with the country, or representing a threat to national security, your entry will be denied. You must not lie or omit relevant information about yourself when processing the visa application.
