There are 45 nationalities that are exempt from applying for a visa to travel to Armenia for tourism. Citizens of European countries, the United States and the United Arab Emirates are amongst those exempted from visa requirements. All other nationalities must apply before travelling to Armenia.

The visa can be requested for 21 or 120 days, depending on the needs of the traveller. Both versions allow only one entry for tourist or business stays. The Armenia e-Visa does not allow for residence or paid work in the country.

The government border authorities reserve the right to admission. Each traveller will be assessed individually on arrival by the relevant immigration officer, and in the case that you have lied or omitted important information that could pose a threat to the country's security or national interests, your entry will be refused.
