You can apply for an extension of your e-visa at the airport in India but its approval is not guaranteed. This procedure cannot be done online either.

Foreign nationals from Argentina, Cook Islands, Niue, Marshall Islands, Mauritius, Solomon Islands, Fiji, Indonesia, Jamaica, Kiribati, Micronesia, Myanmar, Nauru, Palau, Papua New Guinea, Samoa, Seychelles, South Africa, Tonga, Tuvalu, Uruguay and Vanuatu are exempt from visa requirements for travel to India. All other foreign nationals are not allowed to enter the country without a visa or an approved online visa.
In addition to the visa, it should be noted that the Indian government authorities may reserve the right of admission. You will not be allowed to enter the country if you have lied or omitted relevant facts about yourself which may create a conflict or a threat to the country. In this case, you could be refused entry, even with an approved visa.
