Papua New Guinea requires its visitors to obtain a visa before entering the country, although there are some exceptions, mostly other middle east countries. To make the process faster and easier, Papua New Guinea has introduced the Papua online visa (Papua New Guinea eVisa) which you can get online without traveling to the embassy or consulate. You can choose between 4 types of tourist visa - Easy visitor for 30 days, Easy visitor for 60 days, Tourist visa with own itinerary, Tourist visa with tour package and Visiting relatives visa. Please see the table on top of the page to see their details.
Please note that every government reserves the right to deny the entry into the country despite having approved visa. Each traveler will be processed individually upon their arrival by the immigration officer at the airport, port or border. However, this occurs mostly due to the fact the person poses a threat to security or national interests.
