Albania has lifted visa requirements for citizens of Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Qatar, Oman and Thailand. This move is implemented in order to increase the number of tourists entering Albania.

Citizens of these countries can now enter Albania without a visa: only a valid passport will be enough. This will be effective until December 31st 2024.

Nationals of Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Qatar, Oman and Thailand can stay in Albania for up to 90 days within a 180-day period

This visa-free policy is expected to boost tourism in Albania. Back in 2023, Albania also allowed citizens form the Gulf countries mentioned to visit the country without a visa. Over 10 million tourists entered Albania last year, which is an increase of 35% compared to 2022.
