Go up the Yangon Circle Line by train

You can get on this train for one dollar. Remember that you have up to 39 different stops in different communities to understand the culture of the country better.

Visit the pagodas of Bagan

There are more than 2,000 pagodas and were built in the ninth century BC. You can do the tour by horse or bicycle. Do not forget to explore these monuments to discover all their secrets.

See the Inle Lake

Its turquoise waters are surrounded by villages which are beautiful and charming. These dams are handmade and are crossed daily by fishermen in boats. Do not forget to walk around the fruit and vegetable market.

Excursion to Mandalay

The Mandalay hill will allow you to see the city from another point of view, enjoy the pagodas, see the largest book on the planet and eat from the street food stalls. You will let yourself be carried away by the culture of the country and you will feel like you are one with the locals.

Travel by train on the Goteik viaduct

It is the highest viaduct in Myanmar and begins in what was the colonial refuge of Pyin Oo Lwin. When you cross the bridge do not stop looking down even though you will experience a lot of vertigo. I'm sure that you will love the feeling.

Enjoy the island Paradise

It is located to the south. Visit Mawlamyine and Dawei. The city of Myeik is the gateway to the archipelago and it is a perfect place to practice diving and to enjoy nature.

Walk the U bein bridge

Admire the sunset from the Schwedagon Pagoda

It is 100 metres high above Yangon. This Buddhist pagoda requires you to take off your shoes to enter. Do not visit it during the main hours of the day if you want to avoid the heat.

Finish your trip at The Golden Rock (Kyaiktiyo Pagoda)

It is 1,100 metres high and is much more than a golden rock. For locals it is a religious symbol and for you it can be a great way to learn about the spirituality of Burma.

Remember that this pagoda is not included in the tourist guides so it is not too overcrowded. It may be the best end to your trip.
